Sauna
The heating of the sauna is set on the knob located on the side of the heater.
Heating and ventilation
The heat is adjusted using the room thermostats (white boxes located in each bedroom and in the living room). However, the system can be a bit “sluggish”, which means that it takes a while before the heat is adjusted. Note that if you open windows to make it cooler, the system “thinks” it’s cold and sends out more heat instead, which has the opposite effect. It is therefore better to lower the thermostats and let it run for a while and the heat should be adjusted so that it becomes cooler. Do not touch the heat pump to adjust the heat.
Ventilation is automatically on through the FTX unit.
Dishwasher
Before running the dishwasher, remember to turn the knob on the tap. The mark on the knob should point upwards for the water to be on. Dishwasher tablets can be bought at the ICA store in Grönklitt if there are none left under the sink. The instruction manual for the dishwasher is in the cupboard above the microwave.
Cooker and extractor fan
TV
The TV is connected to TV Grönklitt. You have access to most of the usual channels as well as information via Grönklitt TV. The TV is turned on using the remote control. If the TV channels do not appear at once, you may need to change the “source” on the remote control. Normally, however, the channels start at once.
Snow clearing and sanding
Snow shoveling and sanding of the driveway is handled via an agreement with Grönklitt. However, if there are cars in the driveway, the driveway is not shoveled and sanded. Snow shoveling is also not done if there is only a little snow. However, there is a snow shovel and shovels in the storage room or outside the door if it needs to be shoveled. The patio and stairs sometimes need shoveling. There is also a bucket with a shovel and sand in the storage room for extra sanding if necessary. If it is slippery, it can be good to have some extra sand on the slope up.
Electric vehicle charging and engine heaters
Not available.
Coffee maker or percolator
The coffee maker sits in a timer socket that needs to be turned on to brew coffee. The coffee maker has a filter that can be washed clean and reused, but there are also usually disposable filters in the drawer closest to the coffee maker. Fill with coffee and water as desired, press the timer button and then the brew button on the brewer.
Drying cabinet
The heating is switched on and adjusted using the knob at the top of the cabinet.
Locks and door handles
Instructions for the patio door:
– To open = turn the lock knob and open the door.
– To close only = close the door and push the handle slightly upwards.
– To lock the door = push the handle upwards again until it “clicks”. Then you can turn the lock knob to lock the door.
– If the door is to be left open wide = push the handle upwards so the door does not slide open.
Ski storage
The storage room outside the door is for you guests who rent this apartment with space to store skis etc. The code for the storage lock is: 11223. In the storage room there is also a sled that you are welcome to borrow if you want.
Parking space
As the building has two apartments, parking for this apartment is primarily in the parking lot closest to the entrance / staircase. It is possible to park two cars behind each other. A tip is to back up as it makes it easier to then drive away.
Waste management
In Orsa Grönklitt, we have waste sorting for household garbage, and as a guest, you participate in sorting your waste. In the cabin, there is a container for compost and a trash bin for combustible waste. This garbage should be disposed of at the environmental station that your cabin belongs to. Everything else should be sorted and disposed of at the recycling station, which you can find marked on the map in your arrival envelope. There is also a check-in newspaper with more information.

Check-out
If you have booked departure cleaning, check-out must be no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you have not booked departure cleaning, the check-out time is at 11.00.
Keys are returned in designated key cabinets/boxes.

Error reporting
Any errors that occur during your stay should be reported to the Reception as soon as possible, so we have a chance to fix the error.
If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the cottage, please contact Reception no later than 11:00 on the day after your arrival to arrange a time for inspection. Please do not clean yourself.
