Sauna
Start the sauna – turn the timer on the left, between 1-4 hours and it starts immediately. Set the temperature on the right-hand knob (turn on the second, or second-to-last point), takes a few hours to get warm enough.
NOTE – the BASTU heater is probably a little different from what you are used to.
The sauna is a little slower to heat up and comes up to about 70 ° C dry, you give a more comfortable heat and you can sit longer, as you control the continued temperature by the amount of water thrown on the stones.
Heating and ventilation
HOT INSIDE – COLD INSIDE?
The cottage is heated by a NIBE air pump and is preset at 21-22 degrees which varies slightly – Please do not touch this at all!
In order for the house to function, it requires a functioning ventilation, if it is perceived cold, it may be because not all the valves are open in the house and that all the air comes in only through the valves in the window pair in the living room, open all the valves in all the rooms somewhat to reduce that feeling, as a rule, the room temperature is just as it should be, but the draft through the valves can make it feel cooler.
VENTILATION
In order for you to sleep as well as possible, and to have as good an indoor climate as possible, the vents in the windows must always be open – it is these that enable the heat pump to work properly. See instructions on each valve.
Bedroom: at least about 20% open to avoid condensation and “draft” from the other valves.
Above the sofa in the living room: at least about 20% open
In the window area: Always 80-100% open – these are the main intake for air to the house – if only these are open, it will be perceived that it blows from them due to negative pressure in the house (small area in and large outflow)
