If you find that the connection is insufficient, it may be because the router has not been restarted for a while. You can restart it by unplugging the power cord, waiting a few seconds, and plugging it back in. The router is in the loft. Please do NOT press “reset” on the router.
Sauna
To turn on the sauna, turn the controls at the bottom of the heater. The left control is for time setting. Settings, white field, select the number of hours you want the sauna to run and if you turn further you set the start delay. The right-hand control is for power/temperature.
Heating and ventilation
The house is built on a concrete slab with embedded floor heating. This means that the system has some inertia, i.e. it takes a long time to adjust the temperature. We also have a ventilation system with heat recovery. So if you want a different temperature, it will take time. The temperature varies depending on the weather (sun and temperature), how many guests there are and the use of a stove. We understand that guests have different preferences about the desired temperature.
We find that when the central unit is set to 20 degrees, the indoor climate is usually at its best, with variations from about 19-22 depending on the weather outside. We have set it so that it is slightly cooler in the bedrooms than in the living room and compensate with thicker duvets for a good night’s sleep.
Tips for a comfortable indoor climate
Do not adjust the temperature on thermostats / central unit – it will take a long time (days) before the temperature changes and there is a balance in the system
Do not ventilate – we have an advanced ventilation system that recovers heat and continuously replaces all the air in the house with new fresh air
Use the stove if you feel that it is cold. NOTE – it will increase the temperature several degrees as it is very efficient. See instructions below for optimal use
Leave the doors to the bedrooms closed. This makes it cooler in the bedrooms, which most people seem to find pleasant. Each bedroom has ventilation that continuously changes to fresh air.
Dishwasher
Dishwasher, on/on button and select dishwashing program with the P button. Program number and time are shown in the display.
Cooker and extractor fan
The stove is an induction hob and the fan is a regular stove fan with direct exhaust. The grid is dishwasher safe.
Oven and Micro separately.
TV
Living room
The TV is equipped with a Chromecast. Through it, there is a plethora of apps and it is also possible to stream from the phone to the TV via the Chromecast.
To watch TV
Press any button on the white remote control to start Chromecast NOTE! not the black remote control
Navigate to any app, such as SVT Play and start any program
Alternatively, turn on Telenor stream for linear TV format
Loft
The TV in the loft is mainly for connecting your own devices, such as video game consoles. There are several HDMI sockets on the back of the TV.
Snow clearing and sanding
We have a snow removal contract. If it is slippery and needs sanding, there is a bucket next to the front door. If it is empty, it can be picked up in a blue barrel on Kråkbärsstigen, the road below the house.
Electric vehicle charging and engine heaters
There are two charging points, one for each dwelling. They are located next to the entrance to A. Remember to park so that you are not in each other’s way. You must also bring your own charging cable.
If you have pre-booked charging via Grönklitt, you must have an RFID tag on the keychain, which must be used to start charging. In case you do not have one and have not pre-booked charging, you can send an sms/whatsapp to 0730300840 and we can solve it.
To charge:
Take out your own charging cable
Put it in the car and then in the charging box
Hold the RFID tag against the circle above the socket on the charging box
A sound will be heard from the charging box and the car will start charging
Coffee maker or percolator
There is a standard coffee machine and an electric kettle.
Drying cabinet
Our drying cabinet is very efficient, environmentally friendly and a good option for drying clothes. We therefore recommend using the drying cabinet instead of the dryer in the washing machine. If you still need to use the tumble dryer in the washing machine, keep the cabinet door open for the moisture.
Locks and door handles
Lock doors and windows / balcony door
Our locks are of a newer type where you pull the handle upwards to lock.
To lock, close the door and pull the handle upwards 45 degrees (a little sluggish on the balcony door). Turn the key (knob on patio door)
Now it is locked (try pulling the handle down to check)
To fix the patio door in the open position and avoid the risk of the door blowing open.
Open the door, pull the handle upwards until you feel it is locked.
Ski storage
There is a ski storage room to the right of the front door. Same key as for the house.
Parking space
Remember to park so that you are not in each other’s way, Lönnstigen 3A and 3B.
Waste management
In Orsa Grönklitt, we have waste sorting for household garbage, and as a guest, you participate in sorting your waste. In the cabin, there is a container for compost and a trash bin for combustible waste. This garbage should be disposed of at the environmental station that your cabin belongs to. Everything else should be sorted and disposed of at the recycling station, which you can find marked on the map in your arrival envelope. There is also a check-in newspaper with more information.

Check-out
If you have booked departure cleaning, check-out must be no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you have not booked departure cleaning, the check-out time is at 11.00.
Keys are returned in designated key cabinets/boxes.

Error reporting
Any errors that occur during your stay should be reported to the Reception as soon as possible, so we have a chance to fix the error.
If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the cottage, please contact Reception no later than 11:00 on the day after your arrival to arrange a time for inspection. Please do not clean yourself.
