Heating and ventilation
On the ground floor, there are thermostats that can be adjusted between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius. It takes about 24 hours for a change to take effect. There is no thermostat in the lower bathroom, as this underfloor heating loop should always be open.
In the upper bedrooms, there are radiators that can be adjusted manually. The set temperature is shown on the display.
Dishwasher
The hatch opens automatically when the machine is finished.
Cooker and extractor fan
The stove has a built-in carbon filter fan that blows air into the base. Instructions can be downloaded here: https://www.eico.se/nikolatesla-prime-s-bl-f-83-5008 (see page 94 for SV).
TV
Only SVT and Samsung TV PLUS are available on the TV.
The TV is equipped with AirPlay and Chromecast. To cast to the TV from your own phone or tablet, you must be connected to the house’s Wi-Fi. Instructions for casting can be found here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3006709?sjid=16682453154542998519-EU
Snow clearing and sanding
The parking lot is plowed when the snow depth is approximately 10 cm, provided that the driveway is not blocked by vehicles or other obstacles to safely carry out the plowing. If there are cars or other objects preventing plowing, the plowing will be skipped that time.
Guests are responsible for shoveling from the parking lot to the entrance.
There is a bucket of anti-slip gravel in the ski storage room. If it runs out, more can be collected in the container on Kråkbärsstigen.
Electric vehicle charging and engine heaters
The electric car charger is on the wall by the parking lot. The three-phase connector and the electrical outlet on the electrical cabinet are not connected. If you want to connect an engine heater, there is an outlet on the wall by the door marked private.
Coffee maker or percolator
Coffee maker is provided.
Drying cabinet
There is a drying cabinet in the bathroom.
Locks and door handles
The electronic lock on the front door locks automatically after 30 seconds. Therefore, never leave the house without the lock chip (RFID tag).
It is always possible to open the front door from the inside.
To get the bolt to go into the door frame, the handle must be pulled upwards. This applies to the front door and the door to the ski storage room.
To unlock/lock the patio doors, pull the handle upwards while turning the lock.
Ski storage
Feel free to use the ski storage room for storing skis, boots and ski clothes. The storage room is heated, so be sure to keep the door closed.
In the ski storage room, there is a black ash bucket with a lid that can be used when emptying ash from the stove. The ash can then be thrown into a special container at the waste station.
Parking space
Please note that the slope to the parking lot is steep. If you do not have a car with four-wheel drive, it can be difficult to get up when it has snowed a lot or is icy.
There is a bucket of anti-slip gravel in the ski storage room. If it runs out, more can be collected in the container on Kråkbärsstigen. There is also a tow rope in the ski storage room.
Waste management
In Orsa Grönklitt, we have waste sorting for household garbage, and as a guest, you participate in sorting your waste. In the cabin, there is a container for compost and a trash bin for combustible waste. This garbage should be disposed of at the environmental station that your cabin belongs to. Everything else should be sorted and disposed of at the recycling station, which you can find marked on the map in your arrival envelope. There is also a check-in newspaper with more information.

Check-out
If you have booked departure cleaning, check-out must be no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you have not booked departure cleaning, the check-out time is at 11.00.
Keys are returned in designated key cabinets/boxes.

Error reporting
Any errors that occur during your stay should be reported to the Reception as soon as possible, so we have a chance to fix the error.
If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the cottage, please contact Reception no later than 11:00 on the day after your arrival to arrange a time for inspection. Please do not clean yourself.
