Cottage information
Wifi
The QR code, network name, and password are located in the window by the dining area.
Sauna
The controls are located at the bottom of the unit in the sauna.
Heating and ventilation
Underfloor heating in the hall and bathroom, usually set to level 3-4 is comfortable.
Electric heaters, the temperature is set on each heater, should be set to 18-20 degrees. When airing out, the heaters kick in significantly, so it might be good to temporarily lower them.
Dishwasher
Simple operation, but if needed, there’s a manual in the binder in the magazine rack.
Cooker and extractor fan

The microwave is a bit complicated, usually, the option to use the start button at the bottom right for 30 seconds at max power works, but if you want to use more advanced functions, there’s a manual in the binder in the magazine rack.
TV
Start with the remote control and available channels are from the digital terrestrial network. Through the Smart TV function, you can access streaming services and log in with your own subscriptions. There’s also the option to connect via Chromecast. Remember to log out upon departure.
Snow clearing and sanding
Snow plowing is handled by Grefs Entreprenad. If you’re home when they arrive, please move the cars so they can access properly. Try to shovel around the entrance, waxing shed, and charging box, as well as where the loader can’t reach. Sand and salt are on the porch, if more sand is needed, it can be refilled from the sandbox by the mailboxes/waste management area at Mården/Bäverstigen.
Electric vehicle charging and engine heaters
An electric car charging box is located to the left of the entrance, preferably use smart charging or check electricity price fluctuations to plan charging optimally. Charging should not occur simultaneously with using the sauna and kitchen equipment due to power charges.
Engine heater outlets are located at the corner of the house to the right of the entrance.
Coffee maker or percolator
A percolator is available, as well as a French press.
Drying cabinet
Unfortunately, there is no drying cabinet, so the sauna must be used. Drying lines are in the ceiling.
Locks and door handles
Standard key locks. The patio door can be stiff in certain weather conditions.
Ski storage
In the shed, there is space to store skis and use the homemade waxing bench.
Parking space
Parking is on the yard. You can also drive up/down via Höken 8’s driveway, but the road may sometimes be blocked by their cars, so you can’t always count on it.
Waste management
In Orsa Grönklitt, we have waste sorting for household garbage, and as a guest, you participate in sorting your waste. In the cabin, there is a container for compost and a trash bin for combustible waste. This garbage should be disposed of at the environmental station that your cabin belongs to. Everything else should be sorted and disposed of at the recycling station, which you can find marked on the map in your arrival envelope. There is also a check-in newspaper with more information.

Check-out
If you have booked departure cleaning, check-out must be no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you have not booked departure cleaning, the check-out time is at 11.00.
Keys are returned in designated key cabinets/boxes.

Error reporting
Any errors that occur during your stay should be reported to the Reception as soon as possible, so we have a chance to fix the error.
If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the cottage, please contact Reception no later than 11:00 on the day after your arrival to arrange a time for inspection. Please do not clean yourself.
