Wood stove
There is a wood-burning stove in the cottage. For the first fire of the day, it is recommended to open the kitchen window and also the stove door slightly when lighting the fire and until the fire is well underway. This improves the flow of supply air considerably. Especially when the fan is switched on at the same time (otherwise there is a risk of smoke spreading into the living room).
Heating and ventilation
Water-borne underfloor heating with exhaust air heat pump.
We keep a nice heat throughout the winter and the heat pump should not be touched.
It is possible to adjust the temperature with the thermostats in each room.

The shoveling of the parking lot is included in the rent. However, the balcony is not shoveled.

Locks and door handles
The patio door needs to be unlocked with the cabin key first.
To close the door, you need to pull the handle upwards (!).
To lock the door, you first need to close it properly and then lock it with the cabin key. Test if the door is locked by pushing the handle down. If this does not work, the door is locked.
Ski storage
There is a lockable ski storage room next to the entrance door.
Parking space
There are plenty of parking spaces for 2-3 cars.
Waste management
In Orsa Grönklitt, we have waste sorting for household garbage, and as a guest, you participate in sorting your waste. In the cabin, there is a container for compost and a trash bin for combustible waste. This garbage should be disposed of at the environmental station that your cabin belongs to. Everything else should be sorted and disposed of at the recycling station, which you can find marked on the map in your arrival envelope. There is also a check-in newspaper with more information.

Check-out
If you have booked departure cleaning, check-out must be no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. If you have not booked departure cleaning, the check-out time is at 11.00.
Keys are returned in designated key cabinets/boxes.

Error reporting
Any errors that occur during your stay should be reported to the Reception as soon as possible, so we have a chance to fix the error.
If you have any concerns about the cleanliness of the cottage, please contact Reception no later than 11:00 on the day after your arrival to arrange a time for inspection. Please do not clean yourself.
